Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving there safely in a pretty and well preserved body but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up and proclaiming "WOW, what a ride"!!!
A prayer for one and all...
Today Oh Lord let me be kind, gentle, firm and courteous.

Name your critter......and it is made just for you.
Many are not shown here.. If you can think it, I can make it.
They sale as fast as I can make them...but they are not for everyone. They are different. They bring back a folkart time period when things were made childlike.
They made to look like this....and they have been sold all over the world.
Some smile, some laugh and some can't believe people will buy these things.....
Just one side of my creative heart........
Welcome to the grungy critters workshop....
Within the Ozarks sits a country home. There, dwells a maker of dolls and critters. Inside her humble workshop, she takes her time to sculpt and design a noble keepsake called the "grungycritter". Enchahanted from the beginning, loved from the start each is unique, each sat apart. The dolls and critters are handmade using fabrics selected from America's heartland. Old quilts are brought back to life when they are recycled for re-use in her designs. Special time is consumed, for no two are the same. Old buttons for eyes and scraps, yarn or tied rags are used for hair. Affectingly she brings back the tools of yester year. So when you find a doll or critter, their appearance should be child like. Remembering that all of us should see the world through the eyes of a child. They are humbly signed and dated and come to you with love from whence they first began.
For six years I called and comforted a preacher’s widow my cousin Linda . Day after day I walked her thru the memories of her youth over the phone. It was there in the past where we grew up and there were we shared the mysteries of our childhood. She watch her husband die a slow death with a smile on his face, for he knew where he was going. She moved to be near her mother after loosing her brother and husband in the same month. Soon her mother died and she was left with her sister in law, both grieving widows found comfort in each other. Then one day she dies as well. Linda, now alone and lonely filling empty, has to fulfill the wishes of her dead sister-in-law. Even in her own death the job was yet unfinished. Linda would do anything to please everyone, she was quite, sweet and soft spoken. I loved her and told her everyday over the phone. We spend time together everyday, shared gifts and much laughter, we shared many tears together and bonded. Love hurts when it comes to an end…specially when you loose and very dear friend,
